daily painting | snack bar

After a Little League game (in San Diego) the boys rush to the snack bar for post-game snacks. I snapped a pic last summer of these 8-9 years olds (including my grandson Heath) to paint as a Christmas gift to his mom. Their relaxed postures — some a bit cocky, some shyer, caught my eye as they waited for their juice boxes and sweet treats. I know the boys and their body language reflects their personalities. It was beyond cute and I loved the candid, unposed scene (I think an older team in the same division went all the way to the Little League World Series).
