Got spaced out yesterday and forgot to post so here I am. New lessons for me — keep doing paintings of same or similar subject matter until I get better results. These blooms were like little sunbursts of color against a fence in a Berkeley garden. I think I did 4 or 5 watercolors of fuschias and refused to get frustrated. Just kept doing them. Good practice, to keep trying, and to be patient with myself. And I do like this one.
